Thank you Mary! This is the news we hoped to hear! I know I speak for all the members of our planning committee when I say that we will make sure this Marauderville meets and even exceeds our MM.net members expectations. I invite everybody to mark their calandars and make plans to be in Hershey/Harrisburg in October. It's a beautiful time of year in Pennsylvania and we have a full line up of great activities and a great hotel to call home during our event. You won't want to miss this one!!!

There are a lot of details that will be in process over the next number of months. There is no date set for registration yet, but it will be well-publicized, especially on the Home Page.
Stay Tuned!
Patricia and I have penciled in the event and dates. That's a 1260 mile trip one way. But I've always wanted to see that part of the country.
James, we will leave the 10th, overnight around the Cookeville, Tenn area, travel the eleventh and arrive Hershey,Pa. the evening of the eleventh and be in place on the 12th. Looks like you will have to leave San Angelo on the 9th, RON with us and we'll travel together.

I was hoping it would be earlier this year so we could have a mini meet at the Seymour Oktoberfest, like we have in years past, I have attended the Seymour Oktoberfest for twenty years, but I know Marauderville will be a great event. I will be there in thought and I will be a sponsoring vendor.

Pat we're glad your going to try and make the trip. As of right now we are planning a trip to the Civil War museum in Harrisburg. If you arrive earlier than expected Gettysburg is not to far and well worth a visit, and would fit in as a side venture.:)

I wish I still lived up North -- that would make it easier to attend, but who knows, maybe I still will.
Y'all should add a Harley Tour to the agenda.
And the only other thing I have to add is this:

Just because you don't have (or won't have) a Marauder in October, or don't live near by doesn't mean you can't come people!!! Fly the friendly skies!!! It's not only about showing off your car (), but meeting up with old friends and putting the screen name to the face! It would be a great weekend getaway!

I understand how you feel about not having your Marauder at a Marauder oriented event. I went through that last year at Carlisle. I learned quick that its more about the company I was with then having the car sit out in the parking lot or on the showfield. There are plenty events in store that will make the weekend very enjoyable.
Hope you consider being a part of it.

So you need to get "warmed up" at bit with many of the players at MV9. Why not plan to come up to Carlisle for "All Fords Weekend" 3-5 June 2011 and meet some of the gang? Its an easy drive from Baltimore even if you can only make it for the Saturday activities.

We had the same issues last year at MV8, there's always a bazillion and one things extra to do, but you're right; there's only so much you can do.
Nothing wrong with a person splitting off to do their own thing, but the downside is they miss out on all the fun with the group.

I mentioned an event that is taking place near Marauderville, no need to get pissy, I'm not trying to upstage anyone or call your plans boring. Francisco has announced he plans to go to Puerto Rico in September something he has not done since he came to the U.S. 9 years ago so I have to help him make his wish come true. :thinker: Some how this year!
I am afraid I will not be able to do this event sorry everyone! :(
:( :( Bummer for us, but good for Francisco. I'd be missing my family after 9 years too!
You'll be missed!

Yep have to help my Husband like he has helped me when it comes to a trip and some vacation time!
He has wanted to do this for a few years now so I really need to buckle down and help him make this happen.

Sorry CBT but I can not tell him he needs to wait another year again. 9 years without seeing his home is a long time I know his parents and some sisters and brothers are in Philly now and he visits them but it is still not home.
No problem Dave, glad you were able to make it out to one of our bigger meets this year.
Thanks Paul and ya Carlisle I would not miss out on if I have anything to say about it since first going in 2010.
We already agreed we are going again next year and made a plan for it together.
The only thing that will kill us on his trip is the air fair. He has a place to stay and cars to use while he is there so most of it is covered. We are strickly a cash and go family so it is buckle down time for the next few months.

Hey, who is the guy in front of Ladyhawke? I recognize the shirt but not the haircut. ;)
This ^^^^^ event happened 17-19 October 2003 about two weeks after I bought my Marauder. It was one of (if not the first) regional meet every held. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the event at the time and hadn't even found the MM.Net yet.

I wish I still lived up North -- that would make it easier to attend, but who knows, maybe I still will.
Y'all should add a Harley Tour to the agenda.
And the only other thing I have to add is this:

Yes, we were pioneers alright! This was our First Regional Meet, following our very successful "Marauder Roundup" in Ennis TX just a month before. Some of the above ^^^ drove to both Ennis AND Hershey! How many of the Original Crew will attend Hershey this October - eight years later!!

Yall's sales tactics are incredible, I don't know how anyone, especially people close by, could pass this up. Amy was insisting she could only take Friday off, until she saw the itinerary. Now she won't shut up, lol. As a matter of fact, she asked if she could race the Marauder at the track, you created a monster!! I'll let her race Joe, they can get lost half way down the track and stop and talk about the stupid White Sox. Muhahahhaa...
