For the most part, this is a feel-good story, even though the guy is still homeless. He's been clean for two years, and it seems like he has a positive attitude.

I hope the video goes "viral" (ugh, I can't believe I even said that) and this guy gets hired by someone. He really does have a great voice - better than most of the on-air "talent" in the greater Cleveland area.

Wow.... what a great voice and a great guy. Seems like he realized the error of his ways and has hit rock bottom and is trying to start from scratch and work his way up! I hope things turn around for him! I bet he could do a killer Obama impression if he shaved his head, etc.

Wow. I originally trained for radio before getting into video engineering and this guy's voice is excellent. Very smooth and his diction and enunciation are superb. Best of luck to him.

On the same note, there was a (History Channel?) special on a few weeks ago about the ex-Amish. One of the main people who helps young men and women re-integrate into the outside world is an ex-Amish himself named Mose Gingerich. If you have a chance to watch that special it's very interesting and he has a great "radio" voice, too.

This guy is great, (the radio station he quotes is our local station here, Majic 98.9), and there are other great voices that don't really match the persona, as in Jim Neighbors, and Ed Ames, fantastic singing voices, and many more.

Awesome, glad to see this guy got the big break he was needing. Would have loved to have heard that voice on the NYC oldies channel but I guess Cleveland, Ohio can win it this one time. :D

Good for him, and what a great opportunity. I hope he doesn't screw it up!

Dude was on the Today show this morning being interviewed. Seems like a good guy that went down the wrong path. Hope he stays on the right path! Best of luck to him!

Wow!! What an incredible voice. I hope he catches on somewhere. I would pay him to say, "Thats what she said" to CBT.

He's right...his voice IS "God-given". It's a talent you're either born with, like musical ability, or you aren't. It warms my heart to hear that he's gotten a break.
