The 392 really pissed me off yesterday. I figured you guys would apprciate the rant.

Don't get me wrong looks like a great car. I had heard the handling on the 6.1 SRT was pretty bad. Had just picked up my MM right around when it came out so didn't check for myself. But now the press is gaga over the handling. Amazed at how well it handles for such a big car, bla bla bla.

So while drooling over the new challenger I'm reading every spec I can find. I finally come across skid pad numbers.

That number look familiar? That's because it was the stock skid pad on our bigger 2003 Marauders.

WTF? MM has to be the most underappreciated car ever! Mercury died becuase it sold so badly and it didn't deserve it! Great orginization! Why? Becuase you couldn't light em up from a standing stop because half of the cars ass is covered in rear tires? Because ford decided to dial back the stock tune 15% below what the platform could handle for whatever reason? I am seriously pissed about it. People have NO CLUE.

I would have given my left nut for a supercharged marauder convertable. Bhah!

If they ever let me on Top Gear I would be frothing at the mouth shaking the camera screaming "Bring back Mercury you #)#$()&*#$!!!!!"

MotorTrend always posts 1/4 mile times that are significanty slower than all of the other auto magazines.

lol I have to agree in a way. I love this car as well as the improvements but 4,400 pounds is a massive amount of weight which for me hurts it as a drivers car.

I am not a big Dodge fan but at least you can fit a person in the backseat. I went and looked at the 2011 Mustang GT and unless the seat was all the way up I had a very hard time fitting in the back. I am only around 6' 245 lbs. Cant see hauling around friends or adult family in the backseat of the mustang.

If I wanted a 2 person sports car I would just buy a vette or a viper. I guess that's why I own the best car in the world-Mercury Marauder :)

Ford made the '011 Stangs less roomy for some reason. Challenger felt pretty roomy though. Back seats are for kids or dogs, or in my MM's case assorted ball caps

That SRT8 is bad ass!! I would buy that over the Mustang or crappy Camaro. Its bigger, more room and justs looks so awesome. I like the Mustang but they are a dime a dozen. And some of those Mustang packages performance wise are great but I just dont care for the graphics on some of the Mustangs. Ill take the SRT8 please.

They did. Its called SHO. Too bad its all wheel drive. Ford needs to make something cool to compete with the Charger SRT8. If I didnt like the Marauder as much as I do. I would have gotten a Charger SRT8 as Ford doesnt have anything like it. At least you can go out and buy a used G8

it's cool... but years ago (3-5) the big 3 decided to produce drag pack cars for NHRA/IHRA......... But who was the ONLY one to step up to the plate without bailout money? I love anything fast, but SERIOUSLY not impressed with GM or Chrysler offerings for the money... I read online that there a swarm of 03-04 Cobra owners trading those in for the new 5.0.. Maybe the price of a Terminator is going downward

I LIKE the Chally, but can't help to feel awkward when in it??? Just doesn't feel right.

So I got my V-8 Hemi and a bigger truck than our Jeep GC and she got a truck bigger than our Jeep but smaller than the Tahoe and Expedition. We compromised.
