New hood !!

Classglass has a new 4" cowl hood to go along with the existing 2 1/2" cowl hood.

I might consider that one. The cowl openings are at the back edge, even with the back of the hood. If it had the lower rise but those lines it would be perfect.

i like the with of the 4" but unless your doing 5.4 +eaton and doom it doesnt look right to me, the factory style with the super snake vents would be bad ass

I agree the 4" is waaaayy to much unless it's needed for what's under it. ;) The 2.5" for cosmetics is just fine.

I like the Idea of the 2.5 & 4 inch but the exicution just looks to stuck on doesn't seem to flow with original the lines of the car. I would shell out the cash instantly if it looked better

Have to say the stock hood is the way to go. BUT, I do like Justbobs hood though with the scoop from a 1980-81 Z28. Looks good and subtle. He did a great job on his. Maybe he can post a pic of his hood.

Found an old thread on this one. Apparently there was a group buy but they came up short so it never went into production. Personally I'm not a fan of this one, it's to Chrysler.:)

They are willing to do anything if we get enough people to commit to an order. I had looked into doing a fiberglass trunk lid as another weight reduction part. I think a total of 3 or 4 people were committed and I believe they required 10-15.

I would love a cobra style heat extractor style hood.

I remember this hood. I would love to see it in person. For me I think the nostrils are to close to the grille. I'd like to see it with the nostrils back a bit so there is some hood in front of the nostrils.:)

Ram air hood is worthless unless you can hook it up to the intake. A heat extractor is a better choice.

Thanks for the plug Joe. I just wanted something different from anyone else and have it subtle. I'll try and get a pic up soon as all my pics were erased in the computer crash.

As for the 4", I really like the fit of that one except WAY too tall for my liking. Not much into the cobra look, really don't like Classglass's 2 1/2, BUT I really really like that silver concept though!

Maybe it's time for a new "justbob designs" hood... It's been on the mind lately.
