So who's your pick? Pittsburgh Steelers or Green Bay Packers?
I'd set up a poll if I knew how but I don't. I also didn't want to interfere with MM2004's poll on Kentucky attendance on the Home page.
I say Pittsburgh by 20:cool:

I don't know, Aaron Rodgers is really on a role and the Packers have overcome a lot. 15 players on IR and they still made the bowl.
However the Steelers don't lose in the Superbowl, except when they play the Cowboys and Tomlin is one hell of a coach.
I think it will be close, Packers by 3

Joshua (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0009980/): Shall we play a game?
Packers by 3. For a Blue Moon (with orange slice). Payable at KY.
Copied myself from the NFL thread:
As :censor: painful as that was to watch, and as much as I :censor: hate the Packers, I always keep the love in the division.
I predicted a Bears and Steelers Super Bowl with the Steelers losing by 3, I still say they will lose by 3. Probably more since GB has a better QB than Da Bears, and a better defense.
I wore a Bears sweatshirt today, just like every Monday. :)

Pack by 12. Aaron in a covered, temperature controlled dome will light it up, steelers are missing Pouncey (most likely), the Pack's defense is solidly underrated, Raji is rushing well...and the Packers are the real America's team!
Just glad to see a match between two of the original real teams-none of those latecomer AFC upstarts.
Go Pack Go, win one for Curly!

I remember when the 49ers were playing the Bengals in Detroit and the city got pelted with snow. The 49ers almost didn't make it to the stadium for the game.
I guess this makes an argument for the Superbowl being in New York, if it can snow in Dallas, it can snow anywhere. Unless you want the Superbowl to float between Miami, Phoenix and San Diego.

Super Bowl 45's a done deal.
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Many people have already made their Super Bowl predictions, and Saturday one of the Greenville Zoo’s residents added his own.
An orangutan named Baby Bob picked the Green Bay Packers to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday.
He was offered T-shirts for both teams, and chose the Packers’ shirt.
Bob’s Super Bowl picks were part of his birthday celebration.
He turned 5 earlier this week. Today, zookeepers decorated his cage with presents, streamers and special cupcakes to celebrate his milestone.

^^^^ Yup ^^^^^
What It Takes to be Number 1
"Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing. You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.
"There is no room for second place. There is only one place in my game, and that's first place. I have finished second twice in my time at Green Bay, and I don't ever want to finish second again. There is a second place bowl game, but it is a game for losers played by losers. It is and always has been an American zeal to be first in anything we do, and to win, and to win, and to win.
"Every time a football player goes to play his trade he's got to play from the ground up — from the soles of his feet right up to his head. Every inch of him has to play. Some guys play with their heads. That's O.K. You've got to be smart to be number one in any business. But more importantly, you've got to play with your heart, with every fiber of your body. If you're lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he's never going to come off the field second.
"Running a football team is no different than running any other kind of organization — an army, a political party or a business. The principles are the same. The object is to win — to beat the other guy. Maybe that sounds hard or cruel. I don't think it is.
"It is a reality of life that men are competitive and the most competitive games draw the most competitive men. That's why they are there — to compete. To know the rules and objectives when they get in the game. The object is to win fairly, squarely, by the rules — but to win.
"And in truth, I've never known a man worth his salt who in the long run, deep down in his heart, didn't appreciate the grind, the discipline. There is something in good men that really yearns for discipline and the harsh reality of head to head combat.
"I don't say these things because I believe in the "brute" nature of man or that men must be brutalized to be combative. I believe in God, and I believe in human decency. But I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle — victorious." - Vincent T Lombardi, 1913 - 1970

With all the weather problems we are having down here, some folks are thinking that maybe God is just showing Jerry Jones that He is still in charge and Jerry is thinking that H-ll has really frozen over. It is really chaos down here--the only snow plows were at DFW Airport and Love Field-- the cities here use round ceramic markers for lane marking , so you can't use snow plows---so they don't own any. The Highway Authorities don't have any in this area either. In other words---we are not prepared for any frozen precipitation if it is accompanied by a long period of below freezing temperatures. I feel sorry for all the great folks who have committed so much time and money to make this event be fun--but weather has frustrated most of their efforts. To the Steeler and Packers fans---Welcome and we hope you realize this weather is a rarity and we just can't afford to keep all that special equipment for a once in 25 years weather event. Hope everyone can manage to have a good time--and may the best participant emerge victorious- Maury

I really liked that ad too and would have only suggested changing the 300 for the 200 and forgetting Mr M&M. I wish more American car ads would tout their American heritage. (Yeah, I know Chrysler is owned by Fiat but its still a great ad.) As for the game, one of the better actual superbowls. I hate both these two teams but since I didnt have an iron in the fire I just watched and enjoyed it.
