Question about iTunes

I have iTunes on my desktop with a few hundred songs on it and recently got a laptop. How can I transfer everything over?

Drag and drop the folder to a zip drive. Upload to laptop. easy peasy.

Can't you just pkug the iPod into the new laptop and "authorize" it?

Also, you will want to deauthorize it on your old computer if you won't be using the old computer anymore.

Yes, just find the music in your iTunes folder and drag it onto the thumb drive, then drag it onto your other computer.

Thumb drive will work, external drive, or MP3 CD. Authorize the new computer, you can authorize up to 5 per account.

I recommend as a back up move, once you have loaded everything into Itunes, convert all files to MP3 and then back up on a thumb drive or external hard drive. In case your account ever screws up, you'll ahve the back up

Hey now, I hate Apple, and would never buy an Apple computer. All of my iPods were bought for me, but they really aren't that bad, I just don't use them much.
