Wow!! Thats awesome!! Is that the real deal Yenko Nova? Not that it matters. A nieghbor down the street from me has a Yenko Nova. I have only seen him take it out 3 times in the 5+ years I have lived here.

Wow!! Thats awesome!! Is that the real deal Yenko Nova?

I thought Yenko only did '70 Novas. They were high-revving LT1 350's, not 427's. A COPO Nova could possibly have a 427. Either way, awesome car!! Very jealous. Congratulations and good luck!
If that's a real Yenko motor, that some serious bucks. Someone who has a real Yenko Camaro or Chevelle would pay a pretty penny for that sucker.:coolman:

I think Yenko only built a handful 427 Novas in 1969 only. Wasnt 1970 the first year of the 454 as the 427 wasnt available in 1970? I think any Yenko Novas built after 69 had the 350.

It is not.

The car had Yenko trim on the hood and seats and I stripped all of it off. I liked the valve covers too much to take them off.

It is a real LS7 car with a 5 speed backing it up.

The car is a bad boy though and I love it.

It rides and drives like new.

With the polyglas tires you can make some serioussmoke on demand!!

I put this car in my upper garage with my other favorites '93 Cobra and '79 C10 -- which I drove 150 miles yesterday).

Cars are like crack for me!!!

There were some flashy wheels on it when I got my hands on it. They are in storage now until I get them sold.

I like the rims on your blue pick up, what are they American Racing Classics? I want either them or the "poverty caps" look for my old Chev. If I do the sidepipes, I'll go with the five-spokes like on your truck. If not, widened stock Chevy steelies out back with hubcaps all around. Damn, your Nova is causing me to want to spend money, take the pictures down lol.

C:

Yes they are Americans. The wheel of choice for most of my cars!

Keep this in mind: Cars are like ladies and ladies NEED more than one pair of shoes. So, for example, my black '69 Nova has the original SS wheels and a set of Americans, my '66 Shaggin' Wagon, has a set of steelies and a set of Americans..... See where I am going with this?

I picked it up a few weeks ago, original owner-extremely clean-low mileage-all options (Head Up Display etc.). I just did the rotors and and painted the calipers and I am in the process of changing out the run flats. I did a few other exterior mods as well. Not my first color choice but it is growing on me. We plan on getting a C6 this summer but when this came along we could not say no.
