bumper inserts??

This monday the rear bumper of the marauder is finally getting a long over due paint job. Its been scuffed bad on the corner since i bought it. so now when its done i want to buy my inserts. i see bob white has the decals. and im stuck between chrome or reflective. i once saw a dark reflective red on a marauder once and loved it. but i cant seem to find it. any body know where i can find them? also how good are bobs decals? anyone have any issues? i also found actual stainless steel inserts for $60 on actionautoaccesories.com. has any one had any experince with these inserts? seem like theyd look way nicer then bobs decals. also if any one can post pictures of chrome or any other color inserts on their marauder to help me make up my mind.

I bought my reflective red inserts from Bob White a little over a year ago. They have been great thus far. They have stood up to high pressure washings, all 4 Chicago seasons and still look new. Just be very careful setting them in as they are extremely sticky and unforgiving if you mess it up. I have a small crease in one of my letters from not being careful enough.

My guess is that you may have seen "Reflective Ruby Red" if they were a darker red? Thats one of Bob Whites color options on this page:

I believe that is Rex's Blue MM with SS Inserts line up on pit road waiting to go out on the CMS racetrack in Post #3.

I think a silver type colour is the way to go, they look very good on both your and SC's car. It's the first thing the wife said also.

Metalic silver in the non-reflective or chrome vinyl reflective seem to work.
I didn't even realize chrome vinyl was a colour which is why i didn't list it in my earlier post, duh, lol.

I was running Bob White chrome decals for MV8, have since gone to polished SS inserts. Personally, I like the SS inserts better, but Bob White makes a good decal.

Thanks. I have been very happy with the SS Inserts on my Blue MM. Originally, I thought that they were a bit pricey. But the quality really makes a difference and it holds up over the years.

The gold tone SS Inserts looks terrific on a DTR. JMHO.

Yes I ordered the same ones, the old ones were removed for paint. In the day it blends in very well but at night with someone behind you the headlights make the reflect.

Thanks. About $19 + shipping. They're just a little tricky to get put on spaced evenly and then to get the overlay started to peel off.

Yeah when i got mine, i was so anxious to see what they looked like. So i made the mistake of putting them on at 9 at night in like 40 degree weather. So every now and then i see some not sticking. I have to peel them off and clean the surface with alcohol and use a heat gun. That's what i get for acting to quickly. :/

Mine were put on inside a body shop and after we had warmed the plastic up.
