A stall, 3.73 and 100 shot. You will be a nice contender. Those lt1 can hold a 100 shot of Nitrous all day. How many miles in it.?

I know its not the same car but put it to you this way. I have a friend with a 95 trans am that has 167k miles. He has been spraying a 150shot since he got it, it had 122k miles. He has a 3600 stall its a yank TC, 3.73 and all the bolt ons without opening the valve covers. That thing walks me at any speed. He also races the living hell out of that car. The LT1 with The stock compression responds whey better to Nitrous than a blower. That should tell you something.

not knocking what you are saying at all ...this is just some words a few ppl on on the SS fourms said. whats your opinion?? and anyone with knowledge can chime in!
"TC, gears and tune you can have a very good performing B-body. Heads & cam and/or 383's are not required to have a fast & fun B-body"
"Replace the stock valve springs with new stiffer springs.
Get a set of long slot Elgin rockers for $ 75.00 (try Scoggins Dickey or Thunder racing)
Get a good tune only if you are willing to pay for 93 octane
The stock cam IS a torque cam and torque is what moves these cars"
mind you this will be my DD ..not looking for a track car, this thing will be on road trips and all. i jus want it fun and to its potential without doing too much
