Empty your pockets on trips longer than 45 mins. Sounds crazy but it makes a big difference.

Or get a massage.....:D

My wallet is in my front pocket. If walking alleviates the pain stop every so often and walk, only walking 50' can make a difference.
If you cannot stop change the seat position for several minutes at a time.

Definitely make sure your rear pockets are empty. Also make sure there isn't anything in your front pockets putting pressure on your thighs. Belt or pants could also be too tight and putting pressure on areas. I used to always sit on my wallet, but about 5 years ago I stopped doing that and boy what a difference!

I should make this thread invisible so CBT can't see it

Yes. I have heard that a wallet can and will cause discomfort over time while driving.

Would be a good start.

Don't go on long trips? :o

j/k

I've used a small pillow under my leg, just behind he knee joint, has helped in the past.

Nothing in the rear pockets, 'specially a thick wallet, adjust the 6-way seat to get a comfortable position, adjust the lumbar support.

I get that same pain in my thighs as well. Only in this car though, its like the lower half of the seat isn't long enough for support.

Sounds like your putting pressure on the sciatic nerve. You need to stop more frequently and stretch for a few minutes. Don't sit on your wallet and make sure the seat belt receiver isn't pushing against your side either. Of course the best advice is to go see your doctor and make sure it isn't something more serious.:)

I suggest modifying the seat if u take long trips often.

Same pain here. Seat to short and sitting to low will do it. The fix is to sell me your MM that will fix the problem.

Get a donut (pillow) and sit on it.

I have not driven with a wallet in my back pocket for over fifteen years now, was very uncomfortable.

Its not really a pain, its a numbness that I get after driving for like 3 hours. My wallet is always in the console when I get in the car so I can't blame that. It seems like its just a bad seat design for taller people.

The problem isn't your back, it's your wallet.

Give me all your money, Gordon; badabing, badabang, problem fixed... :D

You've come to the right place to ask about Pains in the Azz. We have some experts here. ;)

:jk:

I have never experienced any problems with seat comfort even on long rides. Other cars that I have owned had that problem; but not the MM .... so far ..... Knock wood. :D

Try shifting your seat posture a little or moving your feet/toes occasionally. I agree that it is a blood flow issue.

It only happens when you let me sit on your lap and drive around the block, I don't get it.
