I am still confused as to what winter tire size truely will work on my 16 inch rims. As mentioned before the Traction kicks in @ 45 mph. What size should I put on? In reviewing past posts it seems that there are a few different sizes.................:help:

Front 215/65r16 and back 225/70r16
The above tires are the ones sold with the DTD tire package. The 16" rims used on that package are Unique 16*6.5 with 42mm offset.
Even if you have different rims, the above tire size will work, as long as you have 16" rims !
I have only heard from one person, which had problems with the T/C and the snow tire package. Turned out the dealer had mounted the tires incorrectly. They had the driver side correct (Front 215/65r16 and back 225/70r16), but the passenger side was incorrect (Back 215/65r16 and Front 225/70r16)
Below is a link to the calculation, that went into choosing the correct tire size. I now the above works. I can't say anything about any other combo.
