Why do people want these quiet ,restrictive mufflers.i took mine off at a 1000 miles or so for better mufflers and even tossed them away.my .02 .

+1, almost EVERY marauder I've seen with headers and stock mufflers sounded so nice and burly, it's incredible really.


Plus I don't know where you get that they don't flow well, I thought it was already proven they actually flow pretty great for the in and out diameter it is?

Oh yeah...and Mr. Dennis I also have a pair of stock mufflers. What is a fair price? They were taken off at 79k miles. I will ask my husband if I can get rid of them.

I guess with a modified exhaust system they may sound good but with headers and new larger h or y pipe would you put or leave a muffler with a 2 inch inlet and outlet that will look like crap compared to rest of the system? My system is stock with muffler change only thats why i changed them out.hoping to remove rear cats next.

Stock mufflers go down to 1 7/8".

Dynomax super turbos are almost as quiet as stock and flow a lot better. I just got my headers and my exhaust is a touch louder than before.
