Author W.E.B. Griffin is known for his Brotherhood of War series as Tom Clancy is for his modern tech warfare novels. I have read many of his books and they are real page turners.
However, for many years now, I have been too glued to the Internet and rapidly changing world developments to pursue pleasure reading. But no more, I have determined to refresh my remaining good brain cells with works from a favorite author, Mr. Griffin.
I picked up the first in his new contemporary series, "By Order of the President" and again Mr. Griffin will not let you put the book down. His characters have a certain familiarity - haven't we met before - with a camaraderie that men in the military can relate to.
I recommend it, it's centered around current events and won't disappoint if you've had a background in the military.
I'll be looking for the next one.
