Buzzing Noise......I Finally Got it!!!!

Well Folks......:D

I finally figured out what the dang buzzing is in my MM!!!;)

After all the sticking down of the plastic around the windshield and not getting it...I found it by mistake!!

When I removed the plastic above the radiator to install the SilveStars I found the plastic strip above the radiator had been vibrating against the plastic top piece!!! :( I simply bent it upward a bit so it would have tension against the top piece.....Voila.....No more buzzing!!!!!:D

If this is unclear I will take some pix and post for all to see what can absolutely drive you nuts!!!:mad:

I ran between 75-80 today and all I could hear was the sweet rumble of the exhaust.....Hooray!!!;)

Like I said on another thread...Every Crown Vic I've have had did the same thing and I never could figure it out!!!:mad: It, for some reason, just went away??:confused: Maybe the plastic strip just finally fell off!!:)

Congrats Jack! Noise Concerns are tricky. Rarely the same on any two cars and require an educated process of elimination to find/fix. Good Job!
