On my way to San Diego I'm staying a few days at my brother's house in Visalia, which is almost exactly 200 miles from my parent's house in Sacramento. I have always tested my gas mileage on this trip to see how high I can get it. There is about 5 miles of stop and go traffic lights, but the other 195 miles is all freeway, so it is a pretty good indicator of highway mileage. I kept speed between 60-65 and made 2 stops along the way.

Economy? Just shy of 29 mpg.

**** your Prius.

212 miles per Google maps.

Of course it is all downhill (on the map) ;) and you had the wind at your back the entire trip.

Huh? I think I know my route a little better than you. It's 200.2 miles from house to house and Visalia is 286 feet higher in elevation, so it's actually an overall climb.

It was a joke. North to South on the map. Downhill. Winky guy. ;)

Visalia, my old stomping grounds! Was stationed out at Lemoore and Lived in Hanford. Had to go all the way to Visalia just to see something that represented civilization. In-n-out burger w/ the secret menu, I really miss that place.
