Beautifull collection...I remember some of them from my youth..Alot of money invested in this collection of fine Ford automobiles...got to love it..

I had one of those for a short while back in the early 70's; dark blue with white leather interior. Had a 410 that got around 12 mpg, timing was terrible, bought it right before the oil embargo/gas shortage and ended up selling the car back to the dealer at a loss.

That's is part of the fun of going to Carlisle each year. Those Fords, Lincolns, Mercurys, and yes Edsels of the 50's/60's are absolutely beautiful. :up:

Cause there is barely any real pride in ownership any more. It's the same reason that new houses are so bland on the outside these days. And it's not even like they have diverted focus from form to function, they just completely ignored it.
