hi all, my 03 is lightly surging when it is cold, after it warms up you can barely feel it (you'd have to own the car to know it). A couple of days ago I put a hypertech tune on it and there was no dtc's but the surging was terrible with the tune even after warmed up. Any have any ideas that can help me.

IAC valve that allows air to bypass the throttle blade when closed in a controlled amount. You can take it out and try and clean it, they get grungy. Looks like this:

I have surging while going down hill with no throttle, but not always, just sometimes. Should I clean my IAC? I took it off not too long ago and it looked pretty good.

I would do the "normals" clean MAF, IAC, TB see what happens.

I had the same issue with surging with no throttle. I was afraid it was serious but the car only had 17K. I didn't do a thing but drive it and it cleared on it's own. That was over a year ago.
