I finally got to drive the marauder today... because my girlfriend's cadillac is at the dealer for eating too much oil. :o $3 premium gas from last october FTW. I drove all the way to work with the radio off just so I can hear the engine... sounds so much better than the Excursion's v10... :D Now it just needs some lopey cams and slightly louder exhaust...

Jeez!
I get crap for my Marauder being the "black garage statue"...but I've got 17,500 miles.
You still haven't rolled up on your first oil change!!!

Hehe, it'll get driven a lot more from now on... But I bought it right before winter and only got to drive it 2 weeks before it started snowing. Got it with 1335 miles on the dash

One of the lucky few.
If I had one with milage that low, I'd just stop driving it and get another Marauder to abuse.

Seriously, go drive that thing! 1700 miles! On a slow month, I do 2000 miles on the Marauder.

Here are the pics from the dealer when I bought it. It came with the nitrous kit on it, it's one of the weirdest kits I've seen so far... dry kit, spraying in 2 places, before the maf and before the tb... It's a marauder specific kit from edelbrock supposedly, and according to the installation manual I found online, everything was done by the book, nothing custom... Other than that, it was completely stock, brand spanking new almost. By KBB standards, I overpaid, but it's not like these come by all that often :) Here's the nitrous kit, the pics of the actual car are attachments below

My additions so far are a set of 5k DDM HIDs and a different stereo.
Oh, update on the caddywank... apparently, for GM vehicles, consuming 1 quart of oil every 2k miles is normal... I think my gf's cts is eating even more than that... and it's a car with 42k miles.

I love my fleet of Fords (and 1 jeep) even more now...
