According to the calendar it may almost be spring, but here in the North-land it t'ain't happenin' soon.

Took the winter beater thru the car wash to knock-off SOME of the salt and grime. And since there was a warm-up and was anxious to see what they would look like, put-on the new summer shoes.

You took that through an actual car wash? If so that is a great job. I took my truck through once last year and came home and had to wash it again by hand

I like it one hell of a winter beater, rims look good like the Raptor treatment need less wheel gap IMO

This is the 1st vehicle that I've -EVER- taken thru a car wash.

Learned the hard-way that to get it clean you have to pay-ta-man and not cheap-out for the lowest-price/$7 wash. Otherwise, like you, I came home and washed it again by hand.

ntd ... need less wheel gap IMO
AGREE, though I've already lowered the rear ~2" by removing the 4x4 spring spacers to give it a 2x4, level look.

That and ... Lowering a modern-day F-150 4x4 isn't cheap nor for the faint-o-heart.

Considered taller tires to create a delusion, however, with the 20"x10" rims there was concern with a tire's sectional width, rubbing ( especially in the front ), and not wanting wheel adapters.

With the 275/55x20 in the front there's ¾">1" of clearance between the sidewall and the upper control arm.

And Ya, a LOT of pre-buying cipherin' was done. :D

Must be lookin' at the before pic'. Taking them ( and the dealer's decals ) off was the 1st mod' that was done.
