well, it seems that my 03 has a misfire whenever i rev it. it seems to happen around 5000-5500 rpm. car has 107,000miles, converted back to a stock tune, from another tune about 3 or 4 days ago to save gas. fuel filter was changed at around 93,000 miles, cop's and spark plugs were changed around 97,000 miles. car is completely stock now. thanks for any and all advice--whitey

Sounds like a coil breaking up under a load.

Musclemerc had a line on motorcraft coils. I would suggest using nothing but OEM.

^^ He got a set last year.
I hope your not having the same issue MMBLUE ended up with. He has low compression on a few cylinders.
Please PM me some more details, but a compression test would be a good thing to look into having done

No issues. Just curious.
I did have a similar miss once. I checked the plugs and found oil in a couple of plug wells. I chalked it up to a bad connection between coil and plug. I tightend the cam covers, cleaned everything and replaced the plugs. It was time for new plugs anyway.
All good now, but the coils are getting old.
