how do you get the bolts far enough out to get the whole front upper control arms off the car? do I have to pull the springs out? I have a 300A but I doubt its different from other panthers in 2003.

No, shouldn't have to. Remove the three 13 mm nuts that hold the strut into the sub frame, also loosen and remove the bolt holding the strut into the lower control arm. This will allow the strut to drop down and give you the necessary clearance to remove the bolts securing the upper control arm to the sub frame. Unbolt the upper sway bar pivot arm from the upper control arm and you should be good to go.

Question, why are you removing your UCA? If you're replacing, PM 03mmmonroe if you're interested in selling the old set.

Thank you. this is what I needed to know to get through yesterday afternoon. I did replace them because the ball joints are bad. Sorry, but I'm going to keep the stockers and have them reloaded when the time comes again. this car will be with me until death, which will hopefully be at least 40 years from now.
