If honda came out with a rear drive V8 (won't happen anytime soon) What would ya'll say? I don't like japanese cars as much...but I can't ignore them totally. I heard somewhere they learned how to be reliable from an American. (Discover magazine or something). I honestly think they've made a great effort in the automotive areana.

Henry Ford tried his hand at aircraft in the 40's and didn't do half bad. But decided cars where more profitable. So an American car company tried and suceeded over half a century ago. I'm with Big Slim , HONDAS SUCK!!!!!! Just my union attitude and 2 cents.

Actually Ford was the largerst maker of aircraft at one time:)

I would think twice before running against a S2000. A good driver in that car could eat our lunch.

But it's a damned pain to get good numbers out of the early (pre-this-year) S2000s... their torque band is pretty much 5000 to 9000.

My cousin works at an outfit that does most of Quebec's fastest Hondas (ie. 10-second, 11-second, etc.). They just recently turbo'ed an S2000, and with no other upgrades (ie. suspension, driveline, etc... owner was too cheap), the car is pulling mid 12s. But not too stable, as the car is having a hard time keeping control on the track... like I said, the owner was too cheap to upgrade in the stability area.

I have owned an Accord, good transportation.

I like the S2000. A guy in my office just bought one, his cousin is a Tech at the dealer and has ordered a S/C for him.

He knows nothing about the technical aspects. he is leaving it all up to his cousin.

He does enjoy driving it.

When he has the S/C installed I will post something about it.:D
