If your talking about the gods head in the front grill or on the trunk they were made by using the center cap from the wheel.

Car motorsports use to a vendor here and they had one, look on e-bay.

Some of us used the center cap and dremel tool to replace the front and back.

You can contact Colex a vendor here and see if they have any.

No, there is a nut holding it on.

Good Morning,
The front has a nut holding it on, or is it the rear? Please
Russell

Sorry to hijack but, has anyone gone badgeless on the trunk? What did you use to get the glue off? How did the paint look under there?

i am badgeless on the trunk but it was done by the PO when the car was repainted so i couldn't tell ya what condition the paint was underneath. I would assume even if you removed the adhesive completely you would still be able to see the silhouette of where the emblem was.

I removed the trunk emblem on my Marauder. Some words of advice, use a very thin gauge fishing line to "saw" the emblem off, and be patient. Also, do not consume 12 beers and half a bottle of Jeager before doing the mod... Let's just say, it did not turn out the way I would have wanted it...That incident, and many others like it, are the reason I have been sober for more than three years now. :D

When you remove the trunk emblem there will be two holes.

Did you use some sort of adhesive remover to get the glue residue off? (Everclear?)

Oh, so much for DIY.

Nope, just breathed on it a little and the glue turned into a gelatinous mess. But seriously folks, there was some residual adhesive left that I did my best to remove with 99.9% IPA. It worked quite well. I did manage to find two, collared rubber stoppers that fit perfectly into the holes though. I am sure if done correctly, it should not turn into the fiasco I made it.

I could swear there are holes drilled in the trunk, so badgeless would be a problem.

Saw it off with fishing wire or a hairdryer and an old credit card works. Weld the holes shut, sand, paint and vola!!

Looking for new front and rear badges. OEM would be nice, unless the modified ones are THAT amazing.

That "Bolt" is BS by the way. if anyone has taken it off, i am sure they are familiar with its crapness.

In anylight, i checked the website and they say their "backordered, on front and rear badges" so that does NOTHING for me.

Grille badge is bolted on...trunk badge is glued.

Paint is just like all the other paint on the car. Badges were added after the car was painted.

Go to ford and order P/N YF4Z-8213-AB. that is the factory ornament for the grill. its like $25 or something like that. you don't need to buy the whole assembly to get it.
