Looking for my spring tune up stuff and found Autolite offers a solid copper core racing spark plug for my applicatioin.
AR 103 's is the part number.
I have a set of std 103's to install from last year, so maybe not this season.
Anybody try them yet?

Interesting.
I've been using the Iridium 103's and was thinking it was time for a new set.
Maybe I'll try these!

I run those and have absolute no problems. I also use them in my stang. I don't have any dyno figures so I can not say if I gained anything from them. I'm looking into the brisk plugs to see what Dennis come up with on the dyno. I may be switching.

So my bargain 103 plugs are just as good?
Autolite has several thru November that makes it hard to pass up.

Are copper plugs better then platinum plugs ? Also is copper only for supercharged cars ?

I think the theory is that copper conducts a little better than the "bi-metal" platinum tip plugs??

Dodge says that most 5.7 HEMIS won't run well with Platinums.....I haven't tried since the dang thing uses 16 plugs and the Platinums are much more expensive to just throw away if they don't work well!!:shake:

I have used copper 103's since 2005 and change them every 10-15 K miles......at 225K miles I have no complaints.....and I don't torque them!!

Just changed the plugs on the wife's '07 Charger R/T went with Champion copper plugs. All the Dodge forums recommend copper plugs unless your S/C'd.

Can we know how many miles, if you used any anti sieze? and of course if a torque wrench in inch pounds was used? :D

15K miles.

Anti-seize used

Inch pound, torque wrench used

I treat the Charger just like I treat my Marauder.......

The Charger will take my MM off the line..... no replacement for displacement.

My MM will run it down.

I sat in a 2011 Challenger in Louisville it was way nicer inside, than I have seen from Dodge.

The only problem with the 300, Charger & Challenger is their interiors all look the same.... exactly the same......
