Isn't the PI driveshaft the one everyone wants? Why replace it?

Its rated for a 128 MPH WITH STOCK GEARS, and that is where the speed limiter is at, this car will get 3;73 and I will remove the speed limiter, the car will run about 150 plus, I take no chances it gets a better drive shaft.
Those metcos look good!
What rear calipers are those???

Does not even look likes the same car, Chad is driving it out to have the flanges welded on the X pipe to the mufflers this allows for removal of the entire kit.

Two questions Dennis,
What is the undercoating for....rust prohibitor?
and what is the cable splitter looking thing on the exhaust after the CAT but before the Xpipe on the right side?
Looks good....but the engine bay is a little dusty....you did say a very clean 08 (06 in the title)

Mike apparently you did not read the entire post or look at all the before pictures. I have not started on the engine yet, it is a Police car, did you look at the bottom of the car before I got started, then the after pictures taken yesterday and tell me what the paint and undercoating is for, and I do not know any Policeman that clean there engines, yes the car is very clean for a police car, with 60 K on the clock, and when I am done with the supercharger install the engine will not even look the same. One more day to go then I am headed to Louisville.

Today we got started on the dirty engine, Chad removed the OEM fan and coolant reservoir, and power steering reservoir, we relocated that on the drivers fender well. Here is the stock set up.

http://web.iwebcenters.com/reinhartautomotive/images/session/00-00-1302057868-06cvpipstr.jpg
Next we relocated the new cooling reservoir to the driver fender well, and we changed out the lower radiator hose, so it matches up to the new reservoir, tomorrow will install the GT fuel pump, and install the supercharger, next week will get the pipes on for IC and this car will be a blow through since it has the slotted maf from the factory.

Mike apparently you did not read the entire post or look at all the before pictures. (Yes I did) I have not started on the engine yet, it is a Police car (I know...I was being funny), did you look at the bottom of the car before I got started, then the after pictures taken yesterday and tell me what the paint and undercoating is for (So I guess its just to make it look nicer...doesnt actually serve a purpose?), and I do not know any Policeman that clean there engines ( I know several....just sayin'), yes the car is very clean for a police car, (sorry, I guess humor doesnt come across very well in type)with 60 K on the clock, and when I am done with the supercharger install the engine will not even look the same. (I am sure it will.....I have never seen an install of yours that didnt look great or anywhere near the same!!) One more day to go then I am headed to Louisville.
Cant wait to see it finished with lots of detailed pics and maybe even a video?!?!?!?...

Dang! Wish I had you undercoat mine while I was there. That looks real nice, Dennis.
That's clean enough to eat off of under there, looks like a whole nuther car. What does the big bracket around the pumpkin cover do, just extra support?
What is the part # for the cooling reservoir? Is that something you sell or we can get from the dealer?

As the happy owner of this Crown Vic, I can now report my experiences after having picked up the car and taken the long way home back to Virginia. The pictures in this thread don't really do justice to the quality of the finished car and the joy I have had in giving all the mods a workout on the open road. Good Job, Dennis and crew! Looking forward to my first outing to Summit Point and enjoying a track day.
