Planning to do all the hoses soon, and was wondering if the approx 1.5" diameter steel tube at top/front of engine is a good sturdy piece, or does it need to be replaced. I hope it is. If not, does it come out easy???

My approx 5/8" dia tube that runs parallel to the engine is rusty on the outside....oh to live where winters are easy!!!!

Any tricky things to be aware of??

If I remember correct, is the PCV tube in need of replacing at some point???
Other unusual items??

Thnx TP in VA

I would think that if you went to an auto parts store, and asked for a complete radiator hose package, they could accommodate you.

The crossover tube can be removed, sanded and painted. Take it off and do it yourself.

The PCV tube is plastic.

I hear the upper radiator hose is discontinued, so you could get one of those flexible metal lines...

Keep us posted.
