I have ordered a set of Silverstars front turn signal bulbs from Sylvania's web site.
Does anyone know how I can take off the side marker light to get to the socket?
I see two nuts on the inside of the lens, will this remove it??

There are three nuts to remove on each side. Difficulty level 4.
Complete instructions are in the owners manual under 'bulb replacement'.
G-luck!

Mine has the two nuts near the front of the lens and a tab at the rear. Just take your time and be very gentle or you may break something.
Mine took me about 5 minutes each side.

I installed a set of Silverstars front turn signal bulbs from Sylvania's web site and I think you will like them a lot. Just follow the instructions in your manual and take your time. Those things are fragile.

I installed mine this weekend. marker lights came out with no problem and the turn signals work and look great.
And if you haven't done the H-1 replacements for the foglamps....DO IT!!!
It makes a WORLD of difference.

Some of us also removed the diffusers while we had the fog lites apart.
Makes for a nice light at night and doesn't seem to blind folks.

I pulled my corner left half marker light out because it was cracked. Pulling out the two nuts were easy but the new replacement part from Ford special ordered has a triangle type tab molded into the rear of the light. The fender has a metal tab with a hole in it. Logic tells you stick the plastic tab into the metal tab for support, however, it (the weather stripping) does not stay flush against the fender. Should I file the tab? When I Pulled out the original light, it appears that it did not have the tab. Any suggestions?
