Hi Folks;

Two things I've decided to two starting next month is buy a pistol, and get Silverback painted.

The pistol will be purchased from a friend in the Posse, a new Ruger 9 MM SR9.

The paint will be a Silver metallic, not the OEM Silver Birch.

You heard it here first.

It's time to treat myself.

Plastic framed striker. Suggest you rapidly fire 100 rounds before buying. Had I done that it would have saved me a lot of money.;)

my first semiauto was a Ruger p85 9mm blue steel! been hooked ever since! glocks, and s&w are nice also.

I would do a G22..a .40 but ammo is more expensive :cool:

your right there! we carry s&w .40 cals, before that it was the glock .40 cal, ammo is a bit pricey

The SR9s are decent guns. Most guys who own shooting ranges with guns to rent will tell you that Ruger semi-autos are the least likely to develop "personalities." My experiences with the SR9 have been nothing but positive and I'm a Beretta guy!

The SR9C received good reviews that I read. A brother dept that we used to qualify with had Rugers. I was less then impressed by their reliability. They went to Glocks when they upgraded. I own a number of 9mms, but I rely on 45acp or heavy duty wheelguns for home protection.

The new paint sounds great. Are you coming to MV9 to show it off?

Mr. Man, I had some roof repair done a month ago. But did not have the car repainted.

Gotcha, Our SB needs paint too. Hope your turns out great. Post up some pics once it's done.:)
