I was 13, chasing the local womens round. I remember there wasn't much good on the radio except Quiet Riot, ZZ Top, and Def Leppard, everything else sucked. I remember discovering tall boy Budweisers and weed and how to make a bong out of aluminum foil and a cardboard paper towel tube, but I don't remember what order I learned them in. And I got hit by a drunk driver while riding my go-kart. Good times, 1983.

Aahhh yeah. My favorite White Sox team. The 1983 AL West Champs. Only to lose to Baltimore in the ALCS. And my first White Sox game that year. My first Blackhawks game too. 1983 was a good year.

Ahh 83, that was a great year for Halen. just finished the Diver Down tour, went into the studio to record 1984.
Kiss took their makeup off, the Cubs were getting primed for the Boys of Zimmer, and Metallica was rolling Hot with Cliff Burton
