Over 100 years of collected items to be auctioned off beginning in a couple of months.

Those that traveled to Louisville this year will certainly remember this museum for years to come.

The Coca Cola Museum is closing less than 30 days after the Marauder invasion??? Coincidence ..... I think not. ;)

What did you guys do down there......??

As most of you folks know, I always try and schedule tours during my annual meet that I have not been to before.

This was no exception, and definately glad to have seen the museum prior to it's closing.

Quite a place to walk around and to see all the history related to a soft drink.

You are welcome Casey!

Phil, I agree with you 100%!

On Thursday April 7th, the Mercury Marauders once again decended on the unsuspecting town of Louisville. The city welcomed them with open arms, and a nod to the recent two year production role of a fine automobile. During this get together, the Marauders toured around town (you may have seen them being chased by the police, this was later refuted as a "police escort"). Their stops included Erika's (Of note Erikas was recently closed due to a car running into the neighboring gun shop) a number of members also partook of The Liquor Barn's Offerings (also closed and turned into a makeshift SWAT station). On day number two, thr group toured the Coca-Cola Museum. The Museum houses the largest private Coca-Cola memorabilia. (It should be noted the Museum is closing it's doors).

Following Burnouts at 2:30 in the morning, Kentucky Brown, and this reporter noticed an empty ice Bucket in the parking lot, this group certainly partook of all that Kentucky ahd to offer, even creating their own parking for DTR's (research shows this as the abbreviation for the slowest of Marauders)

Of the landings the Marauders made on their tour, the only facilities that ended up not being effected by any kind of closing were the Winery and Bill Swope Museum. (If you have stock in either, sell, this group seems to be bad luck)

The saddest part of all is that every one of those items will end up in the hands of private collectors and will never been seen by the public again.

Man...that blows. :alone:

All the times I've been to E-town, never knew this museum existed.
They do have a great car museum there that I've visited though, behind a few car dealerships on the road to Fort Knox...
