My intercooler needs to be repainted. I am afraid if I sand it down I will get some shavings/chippings inside of it. Can I still sand it, should I spray over the old stuff or just deal with it getting uglier by leaving it alone?
Next I wanna repaint my Marauder sometime, but not anytime soon. I think it would be a cool look to drive around in primer all summer. How bad is this? I have heard of cars being in primer for 20 years, but I doubt they actually went out in the rain or anything like that. So could I do for this for a summer look or would it only be a "good weather" car?
Thanks!

Get the intercooler anodized! They will dip it in a cleaner first then anodize it any color you want. Probably about $50 to $100.

Tape up the inlets and out lets of the innercooler so you dont get paint chips or dust in side.
Do not drive car in primer. Primer is pouris and will allow water, road grime, oil ect seep into it and will cause problems later when you go to paint.

What color were you thinking of doing your car. You being....let's say unique.... I see you doing something other than black.

The most bright black on the market. The only different color I would consider is that gun metal sliver someone did. I'm nothing special Eric.

That could be interesting. Any cars you've seen with the color black you have in mind?
I like the Galaxy Black on the T. From a distance it looks like any other black truck but up close in the sunlight it has golds, greens and purples. I think it would look good on a MM. Also the black on the new Fords has some sparkle to it. Good luck in your search.:)

Nothing as of yet. Somethings come to my mind that I have never seen exist.
Thank you for the wish.
