WARNING: Check this harness!

So i found out what was causing my PCM issues from this thread:

So it was a harness rubbing badly against a core support bracket running behind the drivers side headlight. CHECK YOUR HARNESS!

Tracing a bad electrical problem is not fun nor cheap. Glad to see your nightmare is over. It seems we now have two wire to keep an eye on.

I had a 1995 CVPI that wore thru the PCM wire on the right side of the frame. I bought it that way and was told it needed a crank sensor.

Are you talking about the C Bracket that supports the bottom front bumper cover and is next to the wiring harness?

I am curious as to how your harness got shortened, did the car ever suffer front end damage?

Nope... it was just the the wire loom wasnt routed that great and it rubbed through.... we fixed it and moved the loom away from the bracket
