OK.....
Let's see here.....Scion xB TuRD....ahhhhh.....I mean TRD!

$26,500!!!!!....

UFB!

http://www.autoweek.com/article/20110511/CARREVIEWS/110519973

I mean....really!?!?!

30K by the time you get it on the road?!?

BTW: I can think of only 2 cars that are as ugly as a Scion Xb:

The Nissan Puke....ahhhh....I mean Juke!
and
The Nissan Pube....ahhhh....I mean Cube!

Or you could drop $25,000 for a Mustang "Mayhem" V6.

I'm not sure I like the name "Mayhem"...but I do drive a Marauder!

Check out our honorable mention in the article:
http://automotive.speedtv.com/article/autos-ford-picks-mayhem-for-mustang/

This goes to show that Toyota lovers will buy anything they throw together....:shake:

Well, at least the Mustang looks alright. The others though.....they make my eyes bleed.......

"....the car made me feel ridiculous. The color, the body cladding, the teeny TRD wheels--cars are generally a reflection of the driver, and in the Scion xB you can't help but see a tool staring back."

Gotta love it! :D

Mayhem? Meh, maybe it'll grow on me...

BTW: Did you notice the interior design and dash layout?

What is it with the japanese car manufacturers who place the speedo-tach-gauges in the center of the dash???....:dunno:

WTF?

Is it for the passenger to help the driver monitor the vehicle's speed and rpm??

One of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen!

Here's a crazy idea:

PUT THE FRIGGIN' GAUGES RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PERSON WHO IS DRIVING THE CAR!.....:mad2:

To paraphrase the immortal Al Czervik:

"Oh, this is the worst-looking car I ever saw. What, when you buy a car like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you, though..."

Nope, never get flustered.
Actualy I hardly ever drive it...it's Marianne's car.

But it does have the speedo-tach-gauges where they should be....RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DRIVER.

Yep, 4 August 2007 waiting for the Cruise Ship "Nina's Dandy" for the Potomac River Cruise. Guess I should have cropped out the river in the background to make it harder. Joe has been showing up a Marauder events with "other" cars for years. ;)

Well yes and no? I did not work at all last week..

This week 3 full days and 1 half day:cool:

They are starting to re-build the garage after the fire. Trailers have arrived and Adjusters are everwhere;)

The coach that was inside durning the fire is of course a total loss.

The place looks like third world country:flamer:

It's a cost saving measure. Nissan has done it too in one of their "trucks".
They only have to manufacture one style dash for both markets (left and right drive market segments).

Depending on where it's located (e.g. central Philly or ANYWHERE in NJ) it may as well be third world... ;) ------> :D
