I'm having a show board made for my Marauder.

I'd like to know the exact 2003 Production Numbers.

I've seen 7838 and 7839.

Does anyone know what the exact number is for 2003?

Thanks, Curt

According to Ford Performance Group (FPG), the number for 2003 was 7,838.

FPG breakout is in this thread >>>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58208&highlight=trim

I'd tend to believe the FPG figure, especially since it gives the different trim/audio combos...

Now to criticize, isn't 1 of 7838 a bit obvious??? Since you are having a really nice board made, I'd use the car's build number or in my case #754 of 7838...

True, but I thought my build number of 2428 was accurate, but another member disputed my number since my build date was 7/16/02 and his build date was 7/17/02 and his build number was 2397. I really don't want to buy a $45 certificate to tell me the correct number.

Or is there another way to determine this?

I would buy the certificate, frame it, and put it next to your board. Mine hangs in my office above my monitor.

I've "heard" you can call FPG and they will tell you without actually ordering the certificate, still I agree with tbone, the real certificate would be nice to display at shows...

Mine moved up 53 spots from what Brian's list shows, others may have moved to a lower number... I liked 701 better but it is what it is...

+2

I have mine framed, and set it out at shows; well worth it.

Get the certificate, it's cool and no other official way to get the info (unless you beg apparently)

I really don't want to buy a $45 certificate to tell me the correct number.

But you would rather spend $150-240 for the "High Performance" custom board with questionable numbers on it ??? ;)

BTW -- it is a very nice looking board.

Here is mine and I had the certificate printed on it to make it easier to display.
