i am looking for a 40ft sea container to store all of my accumulating stuff from parting out trucks and what not. i have alot of stuff. has anyone ever bought one of these before?

I did for the company I used to work for. They go for about 2500 to 4500 depending on the shape it's in. Make sure you look at the roof especially.

I have owned about 5 of them and you can get good ones. MMBLUE is right look at the roof. $ 2500-3000. One I had even had Mary J in it. Was used for drug transportation. We swept it out and disposed of it. HA

Damn dude, 2 years ago we junked 15 of them for $1200 a piece. We pulled them off a jobsite and the guy told us to keep them.

No, we have a few remaining but they are used as storage units at the moment. I may be able to track down a few for you though.

see if you can do any good if you dont mind. the prices im seeing are crazy for what i need. it dont gotta be perfect. 20 or 40 ft dont matter

It sucks you didn't need one a few years ago. They were all 40ft containers and if you came to pick it up, it would have been free.

Look for an old "refer" trailer. An old refrigerated one. They are aluminum and will not ever rust (shouldn't leak) no need to worry about the roof etc.

yeah im gona look into what ever really, dont have to be a sea container. can be a regular old trailer for all i care.
