Mine is a daily driver with 80,500 miles. It is also a show car. It has been rained on a thousand times, has been buried under 24 inches of snow on several occasions, endures the elements all the time --- still turns eyes at car shows. :D

Merideath was a daily driver, but she'll no longer have to see rain or snow she has 50,000 plus some miles. I now have an 04 Crown Vic Interceptor to take on the daily duties and she has 140,000 +/- miles, but she runs strong and takes care of business.

Definitely driven daily. For some folks a car is just a vehicle to get from Point A to Point B. To me, the Marauder is the point! I bought her to drive. I know it's a rare vehicle, but I will never stop enjoying the ride and driving experience.

Daily Driver ....DD

And let me tell you, I use to own a 1999 CVPI (P71) before & it doesn't even compare.

The RAUDER is luxury with incredible power.

I push my Silver Bullet and I'm proud.

Best choice I made and my patience paid off. I had to get my rauder from San Diego and have it shipped to paradise.

It is difficult to buy a Marauder in Hawaii as all the present owners hold on to them tight.

Mine is a DD - 63.5K. I bought it because it's rare and will turn heads...can't do that if it's sitting in a garage 6 1/2 days out of a 7 day week. I've never owned a car like this, so I want everyone to see what I've got and it appears that it will continue to run strong after 100K+ on odometer.

DOOM: You've got a sick setup...hope you are going to be at MV9; I'd like to see it in person, as well as everyone else that has super-modded their MM. Just bought mine 2 1/2 months ago (57.5K), so the mods are just beginning for me...anyone got $5-10K lying around they don't have any use for?

Both! As I work construction, I don't have the heart to take her to work in the field, not to mention all the nails everywhere... I only used it for a "real" daily driver back in '04. So besides actuall working hours, then yes driven almost daily, rain/snow, raced, shown, and attention to upkeep is second to none. My car with 80,000 miles, driven hard and put away wet, still looks, handles, and slaughters most on the road, better now than ever in it's nine years assembled!

I bought my '03 300A black off an estate w/ 600 mi. on it in early '05; it now has a whopping 9.7K miles on it (yes, under 10K.) It runs fine, and smells like new, but it has a number of paint surface scratches on it from sitting in the driveway of a three-boy household.

I'm kind of interested in selling it, although I'm not desparate, so my list price is $17.5K, in case anyone's interested.

She just spent her first winter a garage queen but for 6 years she was always outside and not under cover but she was never driven in the winter time except for 1 year when she was needed to go back and forth to work when Francisco lost his Honda.

So a garage Queen for now on.

Only 43,250 miles on her and most of it for the last 2 years was only to and from car shows and cruise nights.

Bought mine in December 2007. Original owner traded it on a 2007 Shelby GT500 convertible. It had only 19,000km when I bought it. He only drove it on sunny days, and it had only been caught out in the rain 2x's, and it was winter-stored.

I bought it as a daily driver and now have 137,250km (yup, that's 117,000km in less than 4-years, or about 30,000km annually - that's about 18-19,000miles roughly). Still looks great, use 4 snows on steelies for the winter, and have tweaked it to about 310 rwhp.

Daily driver--bought new Mar. 31, 2003--always garaged--never detailed--car wash only--I am the only driver--put all the 120,000 smile miles on it myself--have paint flaws like most early MMs--is a 300A/300B change-over--all 300A features with Traction Control--sticker says 300B. I have to agree with an earlier post: a car is meant to be driven, especially THIS one. So 53k miles...still bone stock...and fortunately was in the garage on May 24 when we had golfball+ sized hail in our neighborhood which broke 4 windows out of my house and trashed cars parked in the street! Marauder is just fine.

Hi all,

Black Beauty is a daily driver. Always has been since I bought her off the local Lincoln Mercury dealer's used car lot in December of 2004. She had just under 36K miles then and nearly 160K miles now! Still running strong and when clean still a head turner. She took a top 25 award in her first show. A third place in her second. A second place in her third. And a first in her fourth and final show! (In her category, of course.)

I don't think so. Mine is also neither. I use it for Sunday drives now and then, and take it to shows on very rare occasions. It also gets used for family vacations, and is driven to work in emergencies. But other than that it sits in the garage. So it's neither a daily driver nor a show car.

I just drove my 96 Lincoln to work the last 3 days mostly due to this thread, and to slow the charge towards 70K miles. I still plan to drive the Marauder alot, but gotta start savoring it more. Plus gotta give the beater some beatings to make it worth the 2K I have spent on it so far. I got the AC back online in the Lincoln just in time for it to get cold. Last week was a Hot one, too much for driving with no AC even with the sunroof open etc.

Gonna have to spend some more $$ to make me want to drive the Lincoln more often. It does help that it has about the same level of options as the Marauder, I have a original autodim side mirror to put in soon, the rear view autodim still works fine. Even put a marauder lower airbox in which does help the 2V breathe better (and it's actually 6 months newer than the Marauders engine Jan 04 casting date)

I don't think so. Mine is also neither. I use it for Sunday drives now and then, and take it to shows on very rare occasions. It also gets used for family vacations, and is driven to work in emergencies. But other than that it sits in the garage. So it's neither a daily driver nor a show car.

Exact description of mine minus the garage during the warm weather months. Then she is in the driveway covered 95% of the time. In mid Octvember she gets put up. I'm thinking about buying something larger for a DD, but momma won't give up her gas guzzling LS8 and I see no sense in trading in a 08 Aveo 5Dr with 27k on the clock, thats paid off and gets 32-34 mpg. Still, I'd like a small SUV. Mazda CX7 comes to mind. Zoom, zoom....
