Right now at this moment without doing anything to it?
Mine would be close, tint would have to be removed and probably rear rotors replaced.
Good thing Marylands inspection is only a 1 time thing!

Going to find out in Oct after MV9. NJ has some new computer software so we have our fingers crossed. I'll take the car off the road in Nov so I'll have the Winter to figure out what to do if the SB fails. It's passed with flying colors with the old software so I guess we'll see.

Not emissions, but vehicle safety inspection, like what most doing before able to put tags on a vehicle and such.

NJ only does emissions now, except for major violations...so I believe it would pass:)

Car is gonna throw an egr light until someone fabs up a solution for eaton swaps. Until then....no. But ohio doesn't have them anyway and that's where my car is registered, even though I am stationed in texas whet they have extensive inspections.:D

Mine passed last Sept when I brought it to VA from IL, won't pass now as one of the fog lights took a crap... The tint ain't legal but in VA they can't fail a vehicle for that, it's up to the law officials to issue a summons...

Same here ... not a problem. Virginia has an annual safety inspection requirement with emissions every other year.

Yes it would....no problems here.
Why would having a fog light out cause you to fail inspection?.....fog lights are an accessory not a necessity

No, any marker, tail or headlight thats not working would cause you to fail inspection.

Yup if it's there it has to work, I could remove them and it'd pass(don't think it could have just one)...
Till a couple years ago I didn't have to worry about my vehicles passing, had a friend and son-in-law that both were inspectors... SIL took another job out of auto service(still has his inspectors license) and friend moved down to NC...
BTW the shop take my stuff to now does a some work on Corvettes and other high perf cars(mostly GM), when I took the wife's Grand Marquis in last month, inspector asked if I still have the supercharged Marauder...

Correct. Tint is not a part of the overall safety inspection. But I usually roll all my windows down before it goes in for inspection, just to be safe and not receive any controversy
I just passed my VA state inspection on 03 May 2011 so I feel like I would be able to pass again today. Just installed the new silverstar corner lamps and checked all my lights. I think I'm good.

In sc I don't have to worry about crap 20% tint. Tint lights. And cars ride around all day smoking all kinds of colors. I think I, going to tint my front windshield

It would pass, except I would have to get the frigging foglights fixed again. They go out about once a month.
