Did anyone else watch the finale of American Idol last night? Didn't watch the whole season, but did watch the ending.

The two finalists were both HS students. Ford was very involved in the whole season and heavily promoted the new 2012 Focus. The two finalists identified their favorite teachers. Those two teachers were both brought on the show and each was given the keys to a new Ford Focus.

Ford also gave the two finalists THEIR CHOICE of any new Ford. How cool is that? What would you pick?

I'm guessing Scotty is gonna go with a new King Ranch Super Duty. Don't know about the girl.

I agree with you on Scotty's choice... some type of pickup......

BTW... Scotty is from Garner, N.C., about 10 miles from where I live.

The girl will get a red Mustang convertible.

And she'll look good in it! That's probably what I would get too, but it would be a GT500.

I wonder if the Shelby's are considered 'Ford' vehicles for that "pick any one free offer."

Too bad they don't make the Ford GT anymore....:drool:

I also tuned into the last 10 minutes. After 9 years I can not sit and watch the whole thing.

Yep, the Hong thing ruined me. After that episode, it seemed as if they were trying to get the worst people they could find on the early episodes. I had to let go of it after that. My wife and daughters still watch the whole thing. I was impressed this time. It seemed as if the two finalists had developed a little spark and were going to be truly happy for each other no matter which one won. It's good to seem something "happy" and real on tv for a change.

Eh..

The auditions were funny. Steven Tyler kept them guessing. J Lo sure is easy on the eyes - most of the time.
