quick question, sheriff aren't you supposed to be employed by a sheriffs dept? that badge looks like the classic "eagle over" badge used by police depts. not sheriffs depts. Isn't that supposed to be a star? Or is that a "sheriff" trap that you are so fond of

Some Sheriff's Offices often use both, depending on the application. Just like police departments often use the traditional sheriff's star in some applications as well.

for example.......

This one is for the Marauder driving attorney or two loitering here......

Storming into his lawyer's office, a Texas oil magnate demanded that divorce proceedings begin at once against his young bride.

"What's the problem?" asked the lawyer.

"I want to hit that adulterin' witch for breach of contract," snapped the oilman.

"I don't know if that will fly," said the lawyer. "I mean your wife isn't a piece of property, you don't own her!"

"Well, youre right," the tycoon rejoined, "but in our pre-nuptial it clearly states that I would have exclusive drillin' rights!"

Bite your tongue, Sheriff! :flamer: I've never driven anything but American cars. As a matter of fact, I got my MM when the firm decided in 2002 to lease cars for all of the partners. Out of 7 partners, there were 3 Lexuses (Lexi?), 1 Audi, 1 Mercedes, 1 Honda S2000, and guess who got the only American car? My MM! I kind of see myself as the rugged individualist! But, I guess there are a lot of us like that on this board. :coolman:

200 MIB, I take it as a compliment that you wouldn't have taken me for a lawyer! Once I leave the office, I try to forget that I'm a lawyer, and just be me. Unfortunately, I know many lawyers who feel like they have to be "lawyerly" all the time! What a drag!

I agree with your choice 100%. Smart move. I bet the other six drool over it occasionally. :D

Out of 500 local attorneys though, I can't visualize any of them being a Marauder person. :)

An out of town attorney that just represented me in several cases (and did an excellent job).... I can picture him in a Marauder. He rode to a hearing in one of my POLICE INTERCEPTORS one day and liked the size, style, power and sound of it.

Nice picture overall Brutus, but buy a better digital camera. :)

You remind me of a local city police sergeant.... Mike Ferrugio. I think he migrated here from New Yawk. :)

What color is the uniform? In Virginia Sheriff's Offices use beige pants w/ a dark brown stripe....... with either a white shirt or dark brown shirt.

At one time our sheriff let us wear shorts and white polo shirts during the summer..... until people assumed and whined about us driving the cars off-duty in white t-shirts.

There is a nice young man who works at our office, and he is big into modding Mustangs. The first day all of the partners brought our new cars to the office, he came up to my office and couldn't stop talking about how cool my car was. Guys who know and love cars really appreciate this machine. Guys who just want "status" don't know what they are missing.

Tom, my brother is in the Navy, to be discharged because of his back in the next few months. He's been complaining about doing guard duty on the USS Kentucky out in Washington State...since that's all he can do I can understand how that sucks a whole lot!
I still think holding a semi or fully automatic weapon and having the athority to shoot any unauthorized person who tries to force themselves on the boat is pretty cool:D

I think the something you saw on the news is the fact Germany is not going to let them call it beer. They have a law that says real beer can only be brewed out of and contain certain ingredients.
