ok name that problem time. fiance has trouble breaking due to a 3k rpm stick. shuts down and restart the same way 3k rpm. after some revving it came back to idle.
two days later I started having steering issues. power steering fluid is fine, any similar issues out there? could this be a belt issue that needs to be placed? or am I looking.g at a possible rack and pinion break? than you in advance.

For the RPM issue, look for either a sticking throttle cable or a gunked-up throttle body. If it's the latter, do NOT use carb cleaner...use only cleaner that specifies it's safe for coated throttle bodies.
As to the steering issue, we need a LOT more info...binding, grabbing, noise, high effort, low effort, what?

been dealing with a noise issue that I can't track in from left. it chunks with weight transfer. that had been a long on going house- actually suspected to be brake rotor but maybe not now. the steering will be tight while turning. but past a certain point its like it frees up. sometimes it seems tight only to one side- while turning left usually. but steering wheel is tight. sometimes when I turn it will not return to center, i actually have to turn it back to center otherwise car continues to go in right direction usually. hasn't happened turning left yet.

Only use cleaner specifically for throttle bodies. Also I'd clean the MAF and IAC, using the appropriate cleaners.
Power steering, check fluid, check the variable power steering module connection (on the rack & pinion, under the P/S pump), also check the u-joint on the steering column. Spray some WD-40 on it, if it fixes the problem replace the u-joint.
