End of an era. It's sad, but I'm proud to still be driving a panther.

With the Eibachs I can tell you when I'm driving over a dime, railroad tracks I would be right there with the MKZ!

The guy is still a D/B!
He has so much wrong it's not worth going over it.
I'm sorry to say this but I'm really starting to hate these "young" people who really don't know S___ from Shine-ola about automobiles!

+1. I think sometimes these guys read each others snarky reviews and just try to repeat the same ole same ole. Franky, if he was driving a GM LS that was not the fleet version it has rear air shocks standard and takes quite a bit to induce body roll. Also, if he is only getting 14 mpg he doesnt know how to "cypher" because my 09 gets 19 in the city and I can get 28 on the hwy doing 70. Though the seats are not the good leather like in our Marauders, all GMs have leather interiors, the author is just a goof.

Well, I guess there was nothing "right" with his post?? Although I read the article in it's entireity, I was more focused on the positives (which is why I own a Marauder) that the cons.

Yeah, I picked out a bunch of mis-statements as well (little brother, the Crown Vic, etc), but it was good to see the postive comments.

+1 on the indicated mileage. I've had numerous GMs as rental cars over the past 18 months and typically average 22+ mpg, which is as good if not
better than the other imported stuff I get stuck with.

Regardless of what others say, I truly believe there's MORE positive than negative when it comes to our Panther Platform... Mmmm-HmmM, nuff said!

4.6l a big engine? Kid probably doesn't realise in America 281ci is a small V-8. In Europe 4.6l might be considered big but that's Europe and they are fascinated by diesels.

R.I.P. Panther platform. Looking forward to your replacement once Ford comes to their senses and realises that the Taurus is a mid-sized car and us larger folk want to be able to breathe and drive at the same time.
