I can launch a model rocket that will be faster off the line. That doesn't mean either the rocket or this fast electric car has any practical application for the average person who needs transportation.

How far can it go at highway speeds? How about around town with a lot of stops and starts from a standstill?
How long does it take to recharge?
What special equipment is needed to do the charge?
Is there a nationwide network of "charging stations" available for fast charges?
How long do the batteries last?
What does it cost to do a total battery replacement?

Those are some of the limiting factors that keep electric vehicles out of normal people's garages... not how fast it can do 0-60.

I was talking about the tracks. Specifically. I like the smell and the rumble you can feel in your chest. I want to see unburnt nitro shooting out of the headers at night. I don't want to hear: ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... And see LEDs all over some ghey pimped up love bug flying down the track. :D
