Just checking to see how interested folks would be on this it's fixable if you have the money but insurance is gonna total her. 82000 miles on it. Well maintained and clean. Car is good from the doors back. Engine runs good will need a fan shroud and air box. Has k&n filter. And condensor and of course a front cap. Wheels and tires are good some minor curb rash on one.

From a laymans perspective it looks like about seven thousand worth of damage. Shouldn't be a total... id get second opinion. If not repairing, I would be interested in tailpipes shipped to 21154.

My dad said something about fixing it. But we gotta hear from the insurance first. But it bent the frame a bit and ripped some bolts out of it. Also the whole car would have to be painted. The glass from the other car chipped the paint on the drivers side. The side window and windshield got chipped it needs everythig up front headlight pannel I dunno what else. And my dads done stole the floor mats. Lol I want the rims for my stang but he said no lol needs air bags which was quoted at 2500 so I dunno we don't want it go to the junkyard though. I'll keep y'all updated on it though.

What color is the interior?
If it is Dark flint
I would be interested in both front and rear seats.
Hopefully they are heated as well.

Sidebar: Normal insurance value on a 2003-2004 Marauder is probably no more than $7-8k. If your Marauder is not your daily driver I recommend collector car insurance like Hagerty's (or similar) when you and the company agree on a value of the car ahead of time. Lets say you have a Trilogy car with low miles, you could insure it for $19k or so and if it gets totalled thats what you get. The cost is usually less than normal car insurance. The catch is it has to be considered a collector car and not a daily driver.

It's official marauder is totaled. Dads highly considering fixing it with a salvage title. Think it's worth it? How many of this color were built? He's asking how rare it is to help decide I think...

Save it!!!
I don't recall the exact amount of DTRs built. But it's some where between 900 and less than 1000. Someone will chime in with an exact number of DTRs built.

I say save it!!!!

There were 980 DTRs built.

According to www.mercurymarauder.org (http://www.mercurymarauder.org), 585 had Dark Charcoal interiors, 398 came with Light Flint (numbers don't add up, but that's what they're showing).

DTR was the second lowest produced color, DBP is the lowest, at 328.

I had a DTR (moonroof car) and loved it. Unfortunately, mine was wrecked beyond repair and went to the salvage yard.

If it's repairable, by all means, rebuild it under a salvage title. If not, buy it back from the insurance company and part it out; it looks like there's a bunch of folks (me among them) that are interested in parts.

I would let the insurance total it out and then see if I have the option to purchase it and repair it.

It doesn't look that bad. Raid the local u-pull-it yard or buy a Crown Vic or GM parts car and just swap the entire front end. You can take your time looking for the Marauder specific parts, and when you have them all, just have it repainted.

Dads having of taken to a body shop for a tear down to find out exactly what Alls damaged. They're gonna try and get the cost down so it won't be totaled. Yay!

If the interior is dark charcoal, and it has a moonroof, I'll take the overhead console; and any moonroof related parts - headliner, glass, motor, linkages, etc.

Car is fixed. I saw her a month ago at a car show. I replaced the orings in the ETAC last year at another car show. The car look real good. Repairs were well done.
