Well I was talking to Dave Compson and we think its time for another Vegas meet. It would be great if we could make this half shooting the breeze and half real oil gauge install =) So with that said we need to set up a time and place. Im thinking meet some place, eat, then go to someones house ( poissibly mine cuz my parents want to know who the hell I talk to on the internet) or someplace practical to install oil pressure gauges on 3 or 4 cars. SO throw out times and places and I will try and co-ordinate.

On Another note, my 4.10s and UD pullies FINALLY arrived today and I hope to have them in VERY soon and in before we meet.

Well, due to my new work situation, i have thu/fri/sat off. So, my vote would be for a saturday lunch. And as for the install well i dont know. Vegasmarauder and i have been discussing the mod, and honestly i havent gotten off of my lazy butt and ordered a new gauge and sender. (anybody have the numbers handy?) And, with that in mind, i wanted to tap vegasmarauders vast experience with the mod and use him for the install.

I am sure vegasmarauder wont mind being used. He's used to that. hehe

I have a question....I keep hearing about the real oil gauge.

What is the upgrade???

you do know the oil guage that comes sock in the MM doesnt actually work, sure it comes on but its more of a switch then a guage, notice it never flucuates from idle to WOT. The "REAL" oil guage involves getting a replacement part from autometer , swaping out the guage faces to maintain the factory look and reinstalling it so the guage needle will actually move when you mash your happy foot.

Good to know! Thank You! I just rolled 1k miles so I have not had the pleasure to mash my foot yet. I am an oil change away though!

Do you know what part # I need???

Thanks again
