View Full Version : Is This Site only for Late Model Marauders?
I'm restoring a 1965 Park Lane Marauder 2 door convertible...
Is there anyone else here with a 60's era Marauder?

I'm here, just a little late to the game. I have a '63 Marauder S-55 and I think there are a coupe others with old Marauders.
I watched your engine start video. Nice when they start right up like that.

Let me start this one by saying please don't take this the wrong way. I only say it to educate.
Your car is not technically a Marauder. It is a 1965 Mercury Park Lane. But it has a 300 hp Super Marauder engine in it and that's good in my book. So Marauder on.
Thanks for the info Kirk... You're right... It doesn't say Marauder anywhere, but it has the marauder dude on the steering wheel and the window washer tank... It might me elsewhere too, just haven't noticed yet...

You mean this Marauder Dude? Or the one in the attachment below?

That is actually the "Godshead" emblem of Mercury.
More accurately, it is the head of the Greek God Mercury. But hey, now we're just splitting hairs.
