I'm on the phone with Lonnie of Blue Oval Chips the other day.
He is telling me he is getting a bunch of Fox bodies recently to do mods and tuning.
One particular fellow brought him a surprise graduation present for his son.
The first thing the guys says is, he's got some heads and cams he wants to install and get it all dialed in.
After sorting out all the mismatched parts ; wrong Maf, fuel injectors(too big),maxed out weak fuel pump and getting the thing dynoed , he picks up just over 60 #'s of torque on the upgrades & tuning session.
The guy comes back after calling everyday since he left it, says to Lonnie when going out for the test drive, "You drive it!"
After a couple attempts to get the guy to man up and drive the thing, Lonnie reluctantly takes the guy out for a sample.
Well on the guys behalf he is not a gearhead or ever had any performance
type car, but after throwing the guy around a bit, Lonnie realizes the guy is not comfortable as the ass end of the car is waving around.
As he pulls back to the shop he gets out of the car to notice the guy got a little too scared!
