Well. They totaled our marauder :*( offered us 13k on it.. and a 3k buy back? How does this sound to you guys? Dad said he'd rebuild it if he could get it for 2kish. Sat in it yesterday and nearly cried lol I love this car...

So they'll give you total $10k? They will deduct the buy back from the amount, offer them $2K, see if they'll bite. Remember that they will ask for the TITLE and the Ins companies across the country will know that it's a SALVAGED car so they will not give you full coverage ins.

I'd pay 3k for it. Keep it, or sell it to me, after you sell Rex the front seats......

Fix it! Metal Crown Vic parts FTW! You can do it cheap and do it right. Use junkyard parts for OEM. Aftermarket stuff is paper thin and doesn't hold up.

Dad talked to a body shop today he can get a front cap for 1k but he's gonna tear it down and inspect the damage and see if he can fix it for less so they won't total her. :) looks like we may save her!
