So I was clicking around, and here I find a guy that has put a blown 4.6L into a Fox Saleen Mustang.
Now the car is nice...but that's not what I noticed.
The blower on this car (which I can't see the manufacturer), has the inlet on the side that the Marauder needs.
Here's the link.

Is this another option for us that can't afford a Trilogy nor want to do the Eaton swap? Who's blower is this? Looks like it would work.

I think that's the stock GT500 Whipple. I believe you would need som sort of intake spacers to make it work. May not have hood clearance also...

I guess that could be fixed with a cowl hood.
I wonder if (clearance aside), if it's a staright-forward bolt on for a Marauder?

Replacing an existing SC or installing as a complete retro-fit?

Not a quick bolt on. You've got a bunch of stuff you'd need to get to accompany the blower (lower intake manifold, intercooler, upgraded fuel delivery system, intercooler pump an heat exhanger, brackets, pulleys, tensioner, etc), and then there's always the clearance issue.
Why not just go the Eaton swap route, or if you want to buy a ready to install kit, go with the Trilogy.

Yah you're right "SC". The Trilogy would be my option then.

Still need spacers to go from it's plenum's 5.4l intake runners to the 4.6l. Definitely cost more in the long run.

Difference is cost.
Eaton swap = between $3,500 and $4,000
Trilogy = approx $7,600 (incl shipping)

Which is why I have neither.
Oh...but at least that includes shipping.

Yep & I beleive the out come was unless you got alot of stuff free would not be cost effective. There was a member on SVT I think who made the adapter plate or designed and had them made? Anyhow for the amount of that cost not worth it. U could do a eaton swap with a 3.4 whipple and end up with a much better blower.

I for one would for sure choose the eaton swap for many reasons the biggest one being you can go with several diff blowers start as normal eaton job then when motor gets redone upgrade to a Whipple or KB. Trilogy is awesome kit also though
