You gotta love this rusty old FORD Galaxie....a real RatRod.
That just happens to have an original 2x4bbl 427 FE hiding under the hood!!.....:bows:
Backed up by a Toploader 4 speed w/ white cue ball shifter, and a 9" locker rear!

I bet more than a few suckers get a quickly fading view of that rusted out rear bumper after having missed the "427" flags on the lower front fender......:o

I would love to have a 63-1/2 or a 64 Ford Galaxie or Mercury 2 door. My dad had a 64 4 door. It was white but I can't remember what color the interior was or what engine it had. Anyone have one for sale?

"6.) Mercury Marauder

Suggested By: MissingInTraffic

Why It's Rebellious: Taking a Panther body then blacking it out, speeding it up, lowering it down and then selling it from the factory is certainly an unusual and mischievous idea. The people that bought it almost certainly want to mess with the status quo a little by driving a car that at first appears normal and a little boring, but is actually pretty awesome. Besides, anything with body-on-frame construction nowadays is rebelling against something."

Check out #1 -- the Toyota Hilux ..... actually used as the vehicle of choice by rebels around the world. :D

Wasn't it a HiLux that Top Gear used to drive to the North Pole? I'd say that's an amazing feat for any car, foreign or domestic. I'd give that Yota a  Corolla driven by a former MM owner :D

I'm not so sure a "turboed Subaru" would blow it into the weeds. Not if it was tuned up and running right. I remember another video of a '64 Ford w/an FE at the Nuerenberg not too long ago.......

You bet!

Not a rat rod to me though. Rat rods are 51 and before. Definately not a 60s car. Cool car, but not a rat rod to me.

I had a 64 Galaxie convertible with a 289 in it, my dream car would be a 63 1/2 fastback with a 406 4 speed.

Wow, that was a very cool video. I was here giggling at the idle of a factory FE from the 60's, just driving that beast will put a constant grin in my face.
