Hmm.. that dealer is charging you retail or more..
The dealership here usually gives anywhere from 25% over cost to 10% under retail across the counter to most people... depending..
I have a bit of an "informal agreement" with the local dealer.. I just picked up a couple headlight assemblies (got tired of fighting haze) a few months ago,. I don't remember what I paid off the top of my head, but "cost" is WAYYY less than what you got quoted..

I second that.

If you think they are expensive parts now, just wait 'til they are "obsolete".
I have a new-in-the-box 428 CJ oil cooler. Reproduction cooler (radiator), $850. New/OEM, $1500<.

Waa, waa, waa .....
The Marauder will soon be 10years old.
Did you expect FLM to have parts made forever ? Do you think that warehouse space is *free* ?
You pay to play with OEM. That's the way it's ALWAYS been. *Especially for limited production vehicles.

This is the reason they get totalled out for relatively minor accident. The MM specific parts are so $$$. They tried use non OEM parts on mine when I hit the deer in 09. They were not happy when they could:argue:n't.

I second that.
I third that.
A lot of dealers charge lists plus 10%.
Tasca is cheapest and will meet/beat other prices.
If you see thier items on Ebay or Amazon do not buy there. Go directly to Tasca.
